Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Safety and Health Manager in Westminster, CO to administer and manage the Safety and Health Management System and the related regulations, pursuing continuous safety improvement at the location and supporting company goals.

You will partner with project teams, conduct inspections and audits, lead training programs, coordinate regulatory inspections, develop job hazard analyses, and communicate safety expectations to protect employees and the public.

Qualifications

• ,
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health or related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of safety responsibilities in construction or related industry.
• CSP/CHST/CMSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project teams, owner representatives, clinics and facilities to ensure effective working relationships.
• Administer and manage compliance with the Safety and Health Management System and incident prevention efforts.
• Advise changes to work procedures to ensure safety of employees and the public.
• Perform inspections, observations and audits to reduce incidents and ensure health and well-being of employees.
• Conduct and monitor training, regulatory compliance and safety initiatives.
