Job summary

Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Junior Records Management Specialist to support federal records inventories, lifecycle management, disposition, transfers, compliance activities, training and reporting.

The position is onsite in Southwest Washington, DC for the first two months, then at least two onsite days per week with up to three telework days, subject to Government direction. You must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of records-management experience.
• Experience with inventories, lifecycle/disposition activities and documentation.
• Strong organization and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records inventories and support lifecycle-management activities.
• Support transfers, disposition and destruction-list development.
• Assist with compliance reviews and corrective actions.
• Develop communications, newsletters, guidance and training materials.
• Prepare records-management reports and dashboards and support related business analysis.
• Assist with onsite records transport and inventory validation.
