Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to support a federal design-build renovation project in Bremerton, Washington. The QCM will lead the Contractor Quality Control program, ensure compliance with contract requirements, government standards, and project specs.

The role requires active CQM/CQC and EM 385-1-1 certifications, 5+ years of QC experience, and 2+ years as QCM on federal projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to support a federal design-build renovation project in Bremerton, Washington. This project involves the renovation of a five-story military barracks facility on an active military installation and is currently transitioning from the design phase into mobilization. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing the project's Quality Control Program, ensuring all work complies with contract requirements, government standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Quality Control Manager (QCM) for the project and act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Program in accordance with project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Current Construction Quality Management (CQM/CQC) Certification (active and valid).
• EM 385-1-1 Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of combined construction quality control experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience serving specifically as a Quality Control Manager (QCM) on federal construction projects.
• Strong understanding of federal construction processes, quality standards, inspections, and documentation requirements.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR Certification.
• First Aid Certification.
• Experience working for a large General Contractor (GC).
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across project teams.
• Previous experience on military, DoD, USACE, NAVFAC, or other federal construction projects.
• Design-build renovation of an existing five-story military barracks facility.
• Design Package 2 is currently nearing completion.
• Project is transitioning from design into mobilization and construction activities.
