Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Federal QC/Superintendent in Arlington, VA for our construction division. You will oversee all stages of federal projects, ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery on mission-critical sites and SCIFs.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in federal construction, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. A competitive base salary with bonus, benefits, and travel allowances are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a superintendent on federal projects, mission-critical work, or SCIFs.
• Proven track record managing construction projects from start to finish.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and PM principles.
• Strong understanding of federal construction regulations and QC procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management, with strong communication.
• Proficient in project management software and related tools.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project life-cycle stages, ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Implement QC systems and ensure compliance with federal standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and federal reps.
• Manage construction teams and foster a productive work environment.
• Conduct site inspections to verify progress and quality.
• Develop and maintain schedules, identify issues, implement corrective actions.
• Uphold safety regulations and promote a safety culture.
• Prepare progress reports on status, budget, schedule, and QC.
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
