Actalent is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee QC for a full gut and interior renovation at a naval air station in Indian Head, MD. The role ensures all work meets federal construction standards, project specs, and client expectations while supporting day-to-day operations and project progress.

The ideal candidate brings USACE QC experience, OSHA 30 certification, and the ability to produce three-phase QC reports.

Qualifications

• Experience managing QC on federal construction projects, including interior renovations.
• Proficient with USACE QC standards and OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to write three-phase QC reports clearly and accurately.
• Experience using construction management software, preferably ECMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day QC activities for full gut and interior renovation at a naval air station.
• Review scope of work to ensure alignment with contract documents and standards.
• Inspect mechanical and low-voltage upgrades and installations.
• Monitor drywall, framing, and carpet work to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Develop three-phase QC reports per project and federal requirements.
• Document inspections and track quality issues using ECMS.
• Enforce safety practices on site per OSHA 30 and company policies.
• Communicate progress and quality status with government stakeholders.
• Participate in progress meetings and provide clear quality updates.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve quality issues and prevent delays.
• Ensure compliance with USACE quality standards and federal requirements.
