Job summary

Elite-Recruiting- seeks an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to provide on-site QC leadership for a barracks renovation at Fort Jackson, SC. You will implement and manage the QC program, coordinate inspections and testing, and ensure all work complies with contract documents and federal requirements.

The ideal candidate has federal construction experience, is hands-on in the field, manages QC documentation, and communicates with government and contractor personnel to prevent schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• USACE CQM-C certification required.
• Experience managing quality across multiple construction phases.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, inspections and testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project's Quality Control Program for the barracks renovation.
• Perform and document QC activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate preparatory, initial, and follow-up QC phases for construction.
• Review plans, specs, submittals, shop drawings for quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and required documentation.
• Identify deficiencies and track corrective actions to resolution.
• Maintain daily QC reports and audit-ready documentation.
• Attend project meetings and clearly communicate quality concerns.
