Job summary

Elite-Recruiting- seeks a hands-on Quality Control Manager (QCM) to lead on-site quality for a Fort Jackson barracks renovation in South Carolina. You will implement the QC program, coordinate inspections and testing, and ensure work meets contract documents and federal requirements.

The ideal candidate has federal construction experience, strong communication with government and contractors, and the ability to manage documentation to audit-ready standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification.
• Previous construction quality control experience.
• Experience managing quality requirements throughout multiple phases of construction.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, inspections and testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project's Quality Control Program throughout the barracks renovation.
• Perform and document quality control activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Identify deficiencies and track corrective actions through completion.
• Maintain daily quality control reports and project documentation.
