Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 10+ years of construction experience.
• 5+ years as a QCM on USACE/DOE projects.
• USACE Construction Quality Management certification required.
• OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid, CPR, AED certifications (or ability to obtain).
• DoD/DOE site access clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily QC activities to ensure work meets specs and contract requirements.
• Oversee field inspections, equipment verification, and steel component preservation.
• Manage submittals, inspection reports, logs, and NQA-1 files.
• Perform preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections for features of work.
• Review drawings, submittals, and work packages for compliance.
• Control materials inspection, handling, and storage per submittals.
• Coordinate resolution of non-conformances with subcontractors and leadership.
• Maintain as-built documentation and support closeout processes.
• Stop work if safety or quality issues arise, especially near SC/SS components.
• Participate in QC and safety meetings and project updates.
