Job summary

CJW Contractors, Inc is seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager to lead the QC program on a federal project from Day 1. The QCM will own the three-phase QC inspections, documentation, submittal management, non-conformance tracking, and government interface, while not managing crews.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of federal project QC experience and active CQM-C, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and Procore certification, with DoD/NAVFAC/USACE exposure and base access.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of federal QC/QA experience on government construction projects.
• Must have served as the named QC Manager on at least three federal projects.
• Experience delivering QC programs under NAVFAC or USACE frameworks is required.
• Experience on occupied federal facilities with phased QC inspections is essential.
• Strong government interface capabilities and documentation discipline are required.

Responsibilities

• Own the three-phase QC inspections process for all DFOW items.
• Produce a fully compliant daily CQC report with all required sections.
• Develop and maintain the Definable Features of Work throughout construction.
• Prepare and submit the CQC Plan per UFGS 01 45 00.
• Manage submittal registers (SD-01 to SD-11) and NCRs with government oversight.
• Interface directly with NAVFAC QAR or USACE QA reps daily.
• Coordinate with Designers of Record on design-build QC submissions.
• Maintain an organized QC file for audit readiness at any time.
