Job summary

Insight Global seeks a QC Manager to oversee QA/QC for federal projects around $30M at Cherry Point, NC. You will collaborate with PMs, superintendents, and engineers to implement the Quality Management Plan and ensure compliance with project specifications and codes.

The role emphasizes leading QC staff, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and owner reps to ensure quality health of the project.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in supervision/management roles on construction projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a direct QC Manager role.
• Experience with submittal reviews and commissioning processes.
• Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements for federal projects.
• Experience on fuel piping projects is preferred.
• Completed the QCM for Contractors course.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality control procedures and standards for the project.
• Inspect and review projects; monitor compliance with building and safety codes.
• Investigate issues and troubleshoot quality-of-work problems.
• Oversee training and management of quality control personnel.
• Ensure proper documentation of all quality control efforts and project records.
• Review contract documents for constructability and accuracy; train teams accordingly.
• Define roles for inspections and manage inspection processes.
• Participate in and lead quality-related project meetings to support the QMP.
