Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for the Command Center Software and Services team in the United States. This role leads a multidisciplinary project team, defines performance metrics, and maintains critical customer and partner relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of public safety deployment projects.

You will manage master schedules, assess risks, and communicate status while driving action plans to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience managing external customers facing complex deployment programs and/or software deployments.
• PgMP or PMP certifications are strongly desired.
• Experience with Public Safety communications systems is a plus.
• Proficient with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheets) to manage master schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develops, manages, and implements the master project plan using automated project management tools, processes, and procedures.
• Defines and measures performance to achieve specific goals.
• Leads a multidisciplinary project team to achieve project completion.
• Maintains contact with customers and channel partners related to projects.
• Provides regular status updates and organizes meetings to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
• Manages project budgets, costs, revenue, margin, and cash.
