Hatch I.T. is seeking a Consulting Portfolio Manager/Proposal Specialist to sit at the center of our growing federal and defense practice in the Washington, DC area.

This hybrid role will report to the Product Owner of the US Consulting business and partner with the COO to strengthen portfolio economics, delivery performance, and growth strategy across multiple practice lines. You will lead operational rigor for federal engagements, pursue task orders across OASIS+, GSA schedules, GWACs, and

Qualifications

• 4-7 years in consulting, professional services, or portfolio/program management.
• Direct federal contracting experience required — familiarity with major contract vehicles such as OASIS+, GWACs, GSA schedules, and IDIQs.
• Experience operating inside a consulting firm with knowledge of utilization, margin, staffing leverage, and forecasting.
• Strong familiarity with the Washington, DC government contracting ecosystem.
• Comfortable influencing senior leaders without formal authority.
• No security clearance required for this role today.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methods is a plus, not required.
