Job summary

CHAOS Industries in Washington, DC seeks a Proposal Strategist to lead the development and delivery of compliant responses for U.S. federal and defense opportunities, owning the process from planning through submission.

You will work with engineers, product leaders, business development, capture, and other experts to craft original technical content, tailor material, and edit responses into a clear narrative.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of proposal management experience.
• Experience managing proposals for U.S. federal, defense, or national security customers.
• Hands-on experience writing and editing technical proposals, RFIs, white papers.
• Ability to learn complex hardware or software and translate into clear content.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of proposals, RFx deliverables, and market-research responses.
• Plan, schedule, and manage compliance matrices and review cycles.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, product, BD, capture, and legal.
• Ensure timely on-time submission and production quality.
• Edit contributions into a consistent, accurate narrative.
