Qualifications

• BA/BS in English or related field (e.g., Journalism, Communications, Marketing)
• Recent graduates welcome
• Strong writing ability and readability for federal proposals
• Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Familiar with Word and PowerPoint; willing to learn Acrobat and proposal tools
• Interested in government contracting, federal acquisition, software or national security
• Experience using AI tools in writing/research and ability to explain use

Responsibilities

• Draft and edit proposal sections, white papers, capability statements, resumes, and marketing materials
• Interview engineers, designers, program managers, and leadership to gather content
• Turn notes and technical explanations into clear, persuasive content
• Coordinate proposal schedules, assignments, reviews, and deadlines
• Format and clean up Word, PowerPoint, and PDFs for submission
• Maintain reusable proposal content, resumes, templates, and boilerplate
• Support compliance checks to ensure responses follow instructions
• Use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, editing, summarization, and quality review while applying human judgment
