Amentum is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Engineering and Technology growth team in Phoenix, AZ. The role centers on translating client needs, capture strategies, and compliance into compelling technical and operational solutions for Federal proposals.

The ideal candidate brings FAR/OTA proposal experience, strong systems engineering, and outstanding technical writing to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions that win.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• 10+ years of FAR-based and OTA Federal technical solutions development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Strong systems engineering background with multidisciplinary systems integration.
• Hands-on experience architecting technical solutions for federal proposals.
• Proven ownership of technical proposal sections or full technical volumes.
• Ability to translate customer needs, capture strategy, compliance, and technical inputs into a clear proposal response.
• Strong understanding of the federal growth lifecycle including BD, capture, solutioning, proposal and customer positioning.
• Outstanding technical writing skills to explain complex engineering concepts clearly.
• Experience interviewing SMEs and turning inputs into structured proposal content.
• Experience across systems engineering, mission IT, cloud, cybersecurity, maintenance, or mission support.
• Experience with teaming partners to integrate capabilities and pricing inputs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI and ML platforms and tools.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the senior technical architect across the pursuit lifecycle and growth team.
• Provide end-to-end thought leadership for proposal responses including technical solution, staffing, and BOE.
• Provide expert technical writing for artifacts, white papers, SOWs, briefs, and proposals.
• Collaborate with teaming partners to develop solutions and pricing strategies.
• Explore new approaches to drive solution innovation and stay aligned with capture strategy.
• Capture and translate requirements and compliance into proposal content.
• Lead and mentor junior staff in responding to RFIs and RFPs.
• Work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
