Expression Networks in Washington, DC, is seeking an Associate Proposal Manager to support the Growth team in developing compelling and compliant federal proposals. You will coordinate with the Growth Lead, capture managers, and the Chief Strategy Officer to manage schedules, contributors, and quality control across proposals.

Hybrid role with onsite work at HQ in Washington, DC and remote flexibility. The role emphasizes AI-enabled proposal workflows, strict compliance, and timely submissions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in proposal development, business development, technical writing, editing, or document production for federal proposals.
• 2+ years of knowledge of the federal proposal lifecycle, solicitation structure, and color-team reviews.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quick-turn proposals and manage schedules and contributors.
• Build and maintain compliance matrices mapping requirements to response sections.
• Apply AI tools to support extraction, drafting, editing, formatting, and quality control.
• Lead document production, ensure formatting and submission readiness.
• Maintain proposal resources and templates for efficient response to new opportunities.
