Job summary

Kokosing Industrial, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to provide field management for federal contracts in the Tidewater Virginia region, with MILCON and infrastructure work for USACE and NAVFAC.

You will lead self-perform crews, coordinate subs, supervise safety and productivity, and ensure timely, cost-effective project execution. The role requires a 4-year engineering or CM degree, 10+ years in construction leadership, and 5+ years as a superintendent, with a strong

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction and management experience.
• 5+ years as Superintendent in a self-performing GC role.
• Ability to interpret safety laws and contract requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, plan and coordinate personnel, equipment and materials for self-perform work.
• Coordinate work activities of subcontractors and provide GC support.
• Review drawings and implement in the field with Foreman.
• Lead safety and productivity planning for designated items.
• Develop site logistics and laydown plans; coordinate with engineers.
