Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineer or Architect) to join our growing Federal group in the Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate sub-consultants, and ensure delivery aligns with client expectations and DoD/non-DoD requirements.

You will champion a team-based approach, manage complex design, procurement, and contracting activities, and navigate federal programs.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• 5+ years in an architecture, engineering, or construction organization, preferably supporting Federal clients (Navy experience strongly preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Professional Registration (PE or RA) required.
• Thorough knowledge of facilities design and construction, contract management, project delivery, and client relationship management.
• Experience with Federal contracting, procurement processes, and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and/or other relevant software.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Occasional attendance at meetings and off-site events; must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
• Position may require occasional travel; must be able to travel internationally, if required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC; access to federal installations may require additional security credentials and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams, as well as overseeing sub-consultants.
• Lead teams and consistently exceed client expectations.
• Understand design requirements for federal facilities, including DoD and non-DoD agencies, Navy experience strongly preferred.
