Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of five (5) years English Language Arts teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Collaborative management style with a proven track record of working with diverse individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assists in designing, writing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating curriculum and instructional practices in schools.
• Develops standards-based assessments to help teachers ensure mastery of standards.
• Provides and develops instructional materials for grades K–5.
• Coordinates and facilitates evaluation and selection of textbooks and instructional materials.
• Provides professional development to staff and informs principals of scheduled sessions.
