Job summary

Putnam City Administration Office in Oklahoma City is seeking a Federal Programs Facilitator to oversee the district’s federal funds and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district policy requirements.

Reporting to the Chief Academic Officer, the role requires a Bachelor’s Degree, valid Teacher Certification, and at least three years of education experience or other relevant experience; it is an eleven‑month position with salary to be established by the Board. Starting date is immediate.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in coordinating district consolidated federal program planning and plan implementation.
  • Stays current with federal laws and policy on implementation of programs and uses of funds.
  • Provides guidance on Schoolwide Plans alignment with the Title I Site Budget so that program participants are informed, consensus is reached and programs run according to intent of statutes.
  • Approves requisitions, purchase orders and invoices of federal program expenditures.
  • Approves absences for teachers attending professional development activities that support site plans for improved classroom instruction.
  • Approves Tutoring sheets for tutoring services to children who are the program recipients.
  • Approves Overnight Travel Forms for Professional Development events paid for by federal funds.
  • Devises, maintains and submits semi-annual/monthly timesheets, records and reports as required by the district, state and federal agencies.
  • Creates, maintains, collects and submits to Payroll monthly PD and New Teacher Academy (NTA) sign-in sheets
  • Initiates and maintains consultation with participating private schools within the district’s boundaries.
  • Participates in Tribal Consultation and collaborates with the Director of Native American Student Services
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
