Job summary

TCG is seeking a Director, Government Operations in Washington, DC, to lead a portfolio of federal contracts with a strong emphasis on program management, compliance, and client relationships. The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a federal clearance.

You will guide project managers, manage budgets, and partner with business development to pursue new opportunities while fostering a culture of growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and the ability to pass a Federal government clearance
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of federal government contracts
• Experience working with business development on RFP/RFI responses
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills for project managers
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to navigate complex programs with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Oversee program activities ensuring performance and client satisfaction
• Manage risk, escalations, and project issues across contracts
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and revenue opportunities
• Lead and mentor staff, promote workforce development
• Drive business development opportunities and new pursuits
• Ensure compliance with standards and subcontractor management
