Job summary

Qualys is seeking a Product Management Director, Federal to own the federal product portfolio and strategy. You will lead a team of product managers, collaborate with executives, engineering, compliance, and sales to grow the federal business and maintain federal authorizations.

You will drive multi-year strategy for ETM, TruRisk, and agentic AI, ensure governance, and manage go-to-market for government customers while navigating FedRAMP, DoD IL, and federal policy changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 12+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years with U.S. federal government, and 3+ years leading product teams.
• Proven track record of owning a federal product line with revenue growth and customer adoption.
• Deep experience with FedRAMP and DoD IL authorizations and continuous monitoring at scale.
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST RMF, SP 800-53/800-171, CDM, CISA BODs, Zero Trust, CMMC).
• Strong domain expertise in vulnerability/asset management, cloud security, and compliance.
• Strategic understanding of AI/ML and agentic AI governance for government use; governance and risk considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year federal product strategy, roadmap, and portfolio results.
• Lead federal product managers and collaborate with engineering, compliance, sales, alliances, and marketing.
• Drive revenue growth, adoption, renewals, and contract-vehicle strategy (GSA, SEWP, BPAs, CDM).
• Maintain and expand federal authorizations (FedRAMP, DoD IL) and align product with federal mandates.
• Shape executive-customer programs through briefs, advisory boards, and keygov partnerships.
• Represent Qualys in federal forums, industry events, and partner ecosystems with a security-first vision.
