Job summary

ARETUM is a leading government contracting company seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. You will manage procurement processes, draft SOWs and IGCEs, conduct market research, and ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.

The role requires a Master's in finance or accounting, 10 years of experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Occasional travel to Washington, DC is expected, and DHS suitability is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
• 10 years of demonstrated procurement experience required.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal communications and teamwork skills.
• Must be an exceptional writer.
• Willingness to travel to Washington, DC occasionally.
• Eligibility to receive DHS suitability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document requirements analyses.
• Coordinate with business owners to draft procurement request documentation, including statements of work or performance work statements and IGCEs.
• Conduct and document alternatives analyses as well as market research.
• Conduct and document procurement risk assessments.
• Prepare and implement procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Develop Capital Planning and Investment Control documentation and manage CPIC process per OMB Circular A-11 and DHS instructions.
