Job summary

The Pew Charitable Trusts' Safer Chemicals Project in Washington, DC, seeks a Senior Associate, Federal Policy, to advance federal action reducing exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals. You will conduct background research, produce policy analyses, engage with federal agencies and Congress, and help plan events, while working within Pew's hybrid model with core days in the office.

Qualifications

• Four years of applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience collaborating with diverse partners to advance pragmatic solutions.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay detail-oriented.
• Experience conducting background research and synthesizing information.

Responsibilities

• Foster an excellence-driven work environment; promote impact, transparency, trust, and diversity.
• Engage with federal agencies and members of Congress to advance policy priorities.
• Monitor activities of federal agencies, Congress, academia, and stakeholders related to EDCs and chemical safety.
• Cultivate knowledge of EDCs and related public policy issues.
• Research and synthesize policy-relevant data to inform action reducing exposure to EDCs.
