Job summary

Amivero is seeking a Technical Policy Writer to support the CBP client with financial management policy updates, coordination of policy working groups, and reviews of conference submissions for compliance.

The role requires US citizenship, at least 3 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong technical writing with policy experience. You will engage diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership, to deliver clear, compliant policy documents.

Qualifications

• Strong technical writing skills, with experience developing policy documentation.
• Federal financial management, operations, compliance, or policy experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and clarity in oral and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Research federal laws, regulations, and CBP policies to identify impacts and propose updates.
• Support updates to financial management policy documents and guidance.
• Translate financial and operational concepts into clear policy language.
• Coordinate policy review meetings with stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Develop briefing materials and executive summaries for leadership reviews.
• Review conference package submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Assess completeness and coordinate necessary corrections.
