Job summary

Executive Director, Inc. supports the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) as a Program Manager, Policy & Federal Advocacy.

You will help manage federal policy efforts, coordinate with volunteers and consultants, and work closely with the Director of Practice and Policy to advance advocacy initiatives. Based in Milwaukee, WI, this full-time role requires 3–5 years in association management, travel 2–3 weeks per year, and a commitment to supporting member and payer engagement

Qualifications

Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with computer applications and online tools.

Responsibilities

Support the Advocacy Committee and manage staff functions, minutes and reports.
Assist in proposal development and approval processes for Practice, Diagnostics and Therapeutics (PDT) projects.
Prepare and post information on federal advocacy activities for AAAAI website.
Disseminate information to members and coordinate action alerts and regulatory updates.
Maintain the AAAAI Action Center and ensure campaigns are up to date.
Represent AAAAI interests in public policy and advocacy capacities as needed.
Coordinate meetings, take minutes and support committees; weekend work as required.
Other duties as assigned.
