Qualifications

• Must obtain MRPT facility credentials; US Citizenship required.
• Paralegal certificate or currently attending ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study.
• One year of legal training or legal experience, or two years of college education may substitute for the paralegal certificate.
• At least one year of litigation paralegal experience or related project experience; trial experience helpful.
• Automated litigation support experience valued.
• Excellent written and oral communication; proficient with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware.
• Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures.
• Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work under extreme pressure.

Responsibilities

• Aids multiple Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSA).
• Examining, preparing and processing legal documents (orders, warrants, subpoenas).
• Compile documents in preparation for hearings and trial.
• Create case fact timelines.
• Open, manage, and close cases in government systems.
• Maintain calendar of active cases.
• File documents with court via ECF systems.
• Interact with victim assistance unit regarding case management.
• Interact with opposing counsel, case agents, and federal agencies.
