Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding and training program for a Federal client. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze current processes, and design engaging learning experiences across multiple modalities to ensure adoption and ongoing governance.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Training and Instructional Design
• 4+ years of experience in Education, Training, HR, or related field
• Thorough knowledge of the full training life cycle and demonstrated ability to develop and implement
• Knowledge of contemporary learning management software platforms
• Experience with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
• Familiarity with Design Thinking and problem solving with strong analytical skills
• Experience working in a project-based environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and in database software
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Training and Instructional Design

Responsibilities

• Outline and understand end users to create training appropriate to meet their diverse needs
• Analyze existing training materials and business processes to identify learning gaps/needs and opportunities for improvement
• Research appropriate learning content and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to structure learning paths
• Develop interactive and engaging training materials using a variety of modalities with learner theories in mind
• Determine utilization of knowledge checks and compliance tracking
• Lead the training development and delivery
• Establish metrics and measure user adoption
• Facilitate learning management system administration, usage, and develop feedback loop for enhancement
• Consider long‑term governance for sustaining training programs and materials
