Job summary

Cydecor is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to oversee the operation, availability, and security of its network. You will lead a small team, ensure business-critical resources stay accessible, and address outages efficiently.

You will work with security/compliance to meet regulatory requirements, implement new technologies, and document network architecture and procedures. This role includes on-call duties and a 8 AM–4:30 PM EST schedule.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of network engineering experience.
• Experience with enterprise routing and switching.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Meraki networking equipment.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPNs (site-to-site and client-to-site).
• Hands-on experience with Zero Trust networks and SASE/CASB concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own performance, availability, security, and reliability of the network environment.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless, and related infrastructure.
• Design and implement network changes and new sites/services.
• Support Azure connectivity and Cloudflare Zero Trust transitions.
• Maintain network documentation and participate in on-call rotations.
