Job summary

Thunder, Inc. is seeking an experienced Integration Developer to join our Federal delivery practice. You will design and build secure, scalable integrations connecting Salesforce with external databases, legacy systems, and public sector apps.

You will lead API & integration engineering, PSS workflows, Salesforce Apex and LWC, and secure data flows for Experience Cloud portals, while maintaining compliance in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, Bulk API, or MuleSoft (Mule 4).
• 3+ years of hands-on Apex and LWC development in complex, enterprise-scale orgs.
• Experience with Experience Cloud and the Public Sector Solutions (PSS) data model.
• Proven Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust or Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and data pipelines connecting Salesforce to government databases and third-party platforms.
• Develop custom PSS business logic to support licensing, permitting, inspections, and case management.
• Create Apex utilities, triggers, and LWC for data transformations and API handling.
• Build secure data flows between backend systems and Experience Cloud portals.
• Analyze legacy systems to identify bottlenecks and plan API-led modernization.
• Ensure FedRAMP, NIST, and data protection standards are met.
