Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems seeks a Project Manager/Construction Manager to lead retrofit and installation projects at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX, focusing on HVAC mechanical upgrades, BAS/Controls, and electrical upgrades.

This role commands budgets, schedules, and safety compliance, with opportunities for growth in a Fortune 500 environment. Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 plus bonus incentive, and company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

10+ years PM/CM experience, HVAC/mechanical/MEP preferred.
Ability to execute complex projects and forecasts.
Strong verbal and written communication; explain technical topics clearly.
Proficiency with MS Project and Procore.
Solid MS Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
Ability to obtain government security clearances.

Responsibilities

Lead execution on retrofit/installation projects for HVAC, BAS/DDC, and electrical systems.
Develop project schedules and manage progress per plan.
Supervise field construction to meet schedule, budget, and quality.
Manage budgets and monthly forecasts with Ops/Regional Managers.
Procure materials, vendors, and subcontractors; issue subcontracts.
Ensure safety standards and adherence to policies.
Coordinate training requirements with customers.
Provide status updates, and revenue/cost/gross margin forecasts.
Maintain contract deliverables and document controls.
