Job summary

Centre Law & Consulting is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant II to support the United States Attorney's Office. You will assist attorneys by reviewing case material, drafting documents, and organizing exhibits for trial.

The role involves research, preparation of summaries, and coordinating with witnesses as needed. Responsibilities include digesting decisions, preparing summaries of testimony, and ensuring citations are accurate.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or HS diploma with 2+ years in a law office or government setting.
• Trial and automated litigation support experience preferred.
• Ability to grasp organization and functions of the customer; basic legal research and citation knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including legal writing.

Responsibilities

• Review case material, analyze and digest decisions, prepare legal references.
• Draft, edit, and review non-legal information, create correspondence and reports.
• Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and creating statistical charts and photographs.
