Job summary

FSA Federal seeks a Law Clerk to support the United States Attorney's Office in litigation tasks and research. You will assist attorneys, prepare motions and briefs, and help manage documents under supervision.

Ideal candidates are current ABA-accredited law students or graduates with strong legal research, writing, and communication skills, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office. U.S. citizenship and a thorough background check are required.

Qualifications

• Law degree or current student at ABA-accredited law school with at least one year completed.
• Experience conducting legal research using various research tools and law library resources.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including legal writing.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common software/databases.

Responsibilities

• Assists attorneys with the litigation process under supervision.
• Reviews work of paralegals and clerks.
• Prepares documents for litigation, including motions and briefs.
• Screens documents for privilege.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
