Job summary

FSA Federal is seeking a Law Clerk to support the United States Attorney's Office (USAO). Under supervision, you will assist attorneys with the litigation process, review paralegal work, and prepare motions and briefs while screening documents for privilege. A law degree or current study at an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year completed is required.

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a background investigation are required.

Qualifications

• Law degree or current ABA-accredited law student with at least one year completed.
• Experience conducting legal research using various research tools and resources.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including legal writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with the litigation process under supervision.
• Review the work of paralegals and clerks.
• Prepare documents related to the litigation process, including motions and briefs.
• Screen documents for privilege.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
