Job summary

FSA Federal is seeking a Law Clerk to support the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) in nationwide efforts to remove tools of crime and prosecute illegal activity. The role involves assisting attorneys with litigation, reviewing paralegal work, and drafting motions and memos under supervision.

Applicants should have a law degree or be enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year completed, strong research skills, and excellent written and oral communication. U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have a law degree or be a law student with at least one year completed.
• Experience conducting legal research using various tools and law library resources.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including legal writing.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other databases.
• Ability to work in a team under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assists attorneys with the litigation process.
• Reviews work of paralegals and clerks.
• Prepares all documents related to the litigation process to include drafting motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc.
• Screens documents for privilege.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
