FSA Federal is seeking a Law Clerk to support the United States Attorney's Office. Under supervision, you will assist attorneys with the litigation process and draft motions, briefs and memoranda of law.

The role requires strong legal research, excellent oral and written communication, and the ability to work in a team under pressure. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal databases is expected. U.S. Citizenship and a 7- or 10-year background investigation are required.

Competenze

• Must have a law degree or be currently a student at an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year completed.
• Experience conducting legal research using various research tools and law library resources.
• Excellent communication skills; oral and written, including legal writing.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and databases.

Mansioni

• Under supervision, assists attorneys with the litigation process.
• Reviews work of paralegals and clerks.
• Prepares all documents related to the litigation process including motions, briefs, memoranda of law.
• Screens documents for privilege.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
