This full-time, on-site role is located at 880 Front Street in downtown San Diego under a federal contract. The position involves legal research, analysis, and drafting across criminal and civil matters, including immigration enforcement, human trafficking, narcotics, and fraud.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school is required.
• At least two years of professional litigation work experience is required.
• Working knowledge of FRCP and FRCrP is required.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills; ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Tier 4 background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal research, analysis, and drafting support across the district's practice.
• Draft memoranda, briefs, and correspondence for attorney review and signature.
• Docket matters, track due dates, and coordinate with attorneys and staff.
