Fredrick Oak Consulting, LLC is seeking a Law Clerk II to support Assistant United States Attorneys and Attorney Advisors for the Southern District of California. This full-time, on-site role is based in downtown San Diego, with an anticipated October 2026 start and security processing considerations.

You will perform legal research, analysis, and drafting for civil and criminal matters, determine applicable law, and prepare memoranda and briefs for review.

Formación

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• At least two years of professional litigation experience.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to deliver accurate work under deadline.
• Sound judgment with discretion on sensitive case information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal research, analysis, and drafting support across civil and criminal practice.
• Draft memoranda, briefs, and correspondence for attorney review and signature.
• Docket matters and track due dates.
