Job summary

Spatial Front, Inc. in Crystal City, VA, is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a growing portfolio of Federal IT programs spanning software development, infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, modernization, and IT operations.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple programs, mentor delivery teams, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure delivery on schedule, cost, and contractual requirements across government contracts.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience, including federal IT programs.
• 8+ years of program or project management experience.
• Active PMP certification required.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
• Experience in software development, cloud, cybersecurity, modernization, or IT operations.
• Experience managing program budgets, forecasts, revenue, profitability, and cost control.
• Ability to lead program managers, technical teams, and subcontractors.
• Translate customer and business needs into program plans, roadmaps, schedules, and actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Federal IT programs involving software, infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, modernization, and IT operations.
• Provide direction and oversight to program managers, project managers, and technical leads.
• Ensure delivery aligned with contract requirements, schedules, SLAs, and government expectations.
• Manage scope, schedules, staffing, budgets, risks, deliverables, and performance.
• Provide hands-on leadership to address program challenges.
• Maintain strong relationships with government customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and federal policies.
• Manage program financial performance including budgets, forecasts, revenue, profitability, funding, invoicing, and cost control.
• Conduct regular program reviews and corrective actions when needed.
• Coordinate with contracts, finance, HR, security, and other teams.
• Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and subcontractor performance.
• Support transitions, recompetes, and contract modifications.
• Promote Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps, ITSM, and continuous improvement.
