Job summary

StraitSys Inc. seeks a Senior IT Project Manager - Cloud to support the FBI in Quantico, Virginia.

Lead cloud modernization, migration, and infrastructure initiatives with extensive scope and cost considerations, guiding projects through planning, transition, deployment, and operational handoff in a secure federal setting. You will coordinate with government stakeholders, cloud architects, engineers, cybersecurity, and development teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery aligned with mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; significant related experience may substitute.
• Advanced degree preferred for senior roles.
• Ten+ years in traditional project management, governance, Agile/Scrum, and DevSecOps.
• Ten+ years managing large, enterprise IT projects across software, infrastructure, and web tech.
• Five+ years in cloud migration, modernization, or cloud transformation projects.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or comparable cloud platforms.
• Experience collaborating with cloud architects, engineers, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and development teams.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and Azure DevOps; ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Define project charters, scope, goals, requirements, and deliverables for cloud initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, dependencies, and budgets for cloud projects.
• Manage cloud migration, modernization, and deployment lifecycle from discovery to operations.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and technical teams to document and manage requirements.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across cloud architects, engineers, DevSecOps, and vendors.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to cloud security, migration, and costs.
• Communicate progress, milestones, risks, and decisions to sponsors and leadership.
• Ensure governance, Agile/Scrum practices, and DevSecOps principles are applied to cloud delivery.
