Job summary

Steampunk is seeking a knowledgeable Technical Policy Analyst/Writer to support a federal government client. The role focuses on shaping IT security and data policy, drafting policies and SOPs, and aligning them with agency regulations and security standards.

You will collaborate with Salesforce admins and leadership to drive enterprise adoption, manage multiple projects, and produce reports and briefings for executives. Strong communication and writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in policy analysis or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience with IT security, data privacy, and compliance.
• Ability to liaise with executive leadership and government officials.
• Familiarity with agency guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, and implement agency policies and SOPs.
