Job summary

Steampunk, Inc. seeks a knowledgeable Technical Policy Analyst/Writer to shape IT security and data governance policies for a federal client. You will craft enterprise directives, align with federal regulations, and partner with Salesforce administrators to ensure policy reflects system security and compliance needs.

You will lead policy development, collaborate with executives, and manage multiple projects with precision while contributing to Steampunk’s mission in the federal contracting space.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in policy analysis, government relations, or related fields.
• Strong ability to draft policies, SOPs, and governance documents.
• Experience communicating with executives and stakeholders on complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, and implement agency policies and SOPs regarding a Salesforce-based application.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and compliance for staff and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT, security, legal, and leadership to align IT policies with security standards.
• Prepare detailed reports and briefings for executive stakeholders.
• Manage multiple policy projects with strong organizational skills.
• Drive organizational change to promote enterprise tooling usage.
