Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector in Columbia, MD is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to perform or review technical security assessments of computing environments to ensure RMF compliance.

You will support Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages, coordinate with ISSOs and system administrators, and collaborate with the vulnerability team to remediate findings. This full-time onsite role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Seven years of ISSE experience on DoD programs/contracts of similar scope.
• DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2 certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform or review security assessments to ensure RMF compliance for assigned systems.
• Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages and risk acceptance decisions.
• Collaborate with ISSOs and system administrators to remediate vulnerabilities and POA&Ms.
• Monitor and validate security controls and changes across systems.
