Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Inside Sales Representative (ISR) for Federal to maximize the productivity of the Federal Enterprise Sales Teams by partnering with and supporting field colleagues.

The role focuses on configuring products, quoting customers, ordering through SPS/AS400, and ensuring compliance with government requirements while mentoring teammates and managing contracts for key Federal customers.

Qualifications

• Technology industry experience or 2+ years of sales experience (non-retail).
• 3-5 years' experience as a CDW ISR or Sr. or Exec Account Manager
• Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, effective interpersonal skills, an energetic and enthusiastic individual
• Working knowledge of Office applications, SPS, AS400

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes product configurations and customer quotes utilizing on-line tools.
• Provides accurate and timely ordering of products via SPS and AS400 systems.
• Direct interaction with customers to provide order status updates, quotes or other requests.
• Ensure all government requirements are followed on orders (DPAS ratings, Due dates, contract requirements)
• Ensure proper quote to order conversion for Federal customers.
• Works closely with Federal Services and PM team on large projects. Responsible for order management on all rollouts.
• Handles return merchandise authorizations.
• Coordinate the scheduling of hardware with services.
• Customer Service - Providing consistent status updates for orders, quotes or other requests.
• To train and mentor new and existing coworkers
• Manage contract vehicles for specified customers
