SJS Executives, LLC (SJS), also doing business as SJS Industrial, seeks experienced HVAC/AC Mechanics for a contract in Montgomery and Tuskegee, Alabama. Expect $25.32/hr base plus $5.42/hr Health & Welfare, totaling $30.74/hr, plus 11 federal holidays and 56 hours of sick leave annually.

Must pass drug and background checks for federal access and have 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and ensuring air

Formación

• Minimum 3 years in commercial, institutional, industrial, or healthcare HVAC maintenance.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and indoor air quality systems.
• Valid Real ID is required for access to federal facilities.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally; capable of working in hot, confined, and elevated spaces.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems including filters, coils, lubrication, and verification of operation.
• Inspect HVAC equipment to identify wear, inefficiencies, and issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC malfunctions.
• Repair or replace motors, compressors, thermostats, belts, and related components.
• Monitor and adjust central air systems to maintain temperature, humidity, and ventilation.
• Maintain indoor air quality and proper operation of ventilation and distribution systems.
• Respond to service calls and perform corrective maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with facilities maintenance and other departments to support operations.
• Maintain safety by following federal regulations and facility procedures; wear PPE and safety gear.
