Job summary

SJS Executives, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, seeks experienced HVAC/AC Mechanics for an upcoming contract in Montgomery and Tuskegee, Alabama, supporting two federal medical facilities. The role pays $25.32/hr base plus $5.42/hr Health and Welfare, totaling $30.74/hr, with 11 paid federal holidays and 56 hours of annual sick leave.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems and components.

Qualifications

• Valid Real ID required
• 3+ years HVAC maintenance/repair experience
• Experience preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs on HVAC systems
• Experience repairing motors, compressors, thermostats
• Ability to read HVAC drawings, schematics, manuals
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally
• OSHA respirator fit testing and PPE use
• Pass drug test and background check for military installation access

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems: filters, coils, lubrication, operation checks
• Inspect HVAC equipment for wear, inefficiencies and issues
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC malfunctions
• Repair/replace motors, compressors, thermostats, belts, bearings
• Monitor central A/C systems for correct temperature/humidity/ventilation
• Maintain indoor air quality via ventilation systems
• Respond to service calls and perform corrective maintenance
• Coordinate with facilities for continuous building operations
• Maintain safety per federal regs and site procedures
