Job summary

Sundance Consultants, a True Environmental company, seeks a Project Manager to lead Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) projects for federal clients. The role covers cost estimating, work plan development, financial tracking, client management, and field oversight.

Responsibilities include end-to-end project execution, planning & compliance, budgeting, and supervising field staff and subcontractors, with travel and security clearances as required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience supporting federal/DoD clients (USACE, AFCEC, NAVFAC preferred).
• Active PE or PG; PMP certification preferred.
• 40-hr HAZWOPER; 30-hr OSHA Construction Safety; USACE CQM training.
• Strong knowledge of regulations; budgeting; and report drafting.

Responsibilities

• Manage HTRW projects end-to-end in compliance with contract scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare and manage work plans, APP/SSHP, PMP, QCP, and UFP-QAPPs for PA/SI, RI/FS tasks.
• Develop cost estimates, track job costs, and support SOW development, bid evaluations, and status reporting.
• Supervise technical staff and field subcontractors (drillers, geophysics, labs, surveyors) and review field/after-action reports.
• Serve as the primary liaison for federal clients, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders.
