CEC is a trusted provider of human capital consulting to federal agencies, helping them solve their most complex workforce challenges. We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support DEA HR operations by assisting with staffing, hiring, personnel processing, and benefits-related activities.

Key responsibilities include assisting with staffing and onboarding, supporting personnel action processing and HR case management, maintaining HR records in automated systems, handling benefits

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
• Four years of experience in Federal HR or related staffing activities.
• Basic knowledge of employment laws.
• Experience using Federal HR and office systems (NFC, eOPF, MS Office, USA Staffing, EmpowerHR, eQIP).
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Assist with staffing, hiring, and onboarding activities.
• Support personnel action processing and HR case management.
• Maintain and update HR records using automated systems.
• Assist with benefits-related documentation.
• Track HR actions and workflow status.
• Respond to routine HR inquiries.
