Job summary

Guidon is seeking a Healthcare Planner to join our Indianapolis team and lead campus healthcare planning initiatives for federal clients. You will collaborate with design and engineering teams, manage space programs, and drive long-term campus facility strategies aligned with VA/DoD standards.

The role emphasizes LEAN thinking, stakeholder communication, and active involvement in project Kick-offs and meetings, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with early healthcare project planning and programming.
• Experience applying LEAN principles to healthcare design and operations.
• Familiarity with federal healthcare criteria (FGI, NFPA 99).
• Proficient in design office software (Photoshop, AutoCAD/Revit, SketchUp).
• Ability to collaborate across architecture and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary campus healthcare planning projects.
• Work within established schedules and milestones for long-term planning.
• Support marketing to secure planning projects via responses and meetings.
• Facilitate design meetings that culminate in long-term campus plans.
• Develop space programs and adjacencies for departments.
• Represent the firm in design/process discussions with stakeholders.
• Travel to client healthcare sites as required.
