Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Federal Health Program Modernization Director in McLean, VA to lead transformative projects for HHS/ACF. You will manage multiple contracts, build trusted executive relationships, and drive program modernization, integrity, and performance improvements across human services programs.

You will oversee development and delivery, mentor teams, and align strategies with client goals, ensuring high-quality outcomes and compliance in a dynamic public sector environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of total experience in public sector or consulting.
• 10+ years supporting public sector agencies including HHS.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and large contracts.
• Proven track record in fraud, waste, and abuse prevention or program integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery for ACF and federal human services engagements, ensuring on-time, on-budget results.
• Develop and manage relationships with senior client executives and stakeholders.
• Grow the practice with $10M+ in annual new business and proposals.
• Oversee contracts, financials, risk, and compliance across multiple engagements.
• Mentor staff and shape a high-performance, collaborative culture.
